The leaders in swimwear and lingerie, La Perla releases it’s Spring / Summer 2016 campaign and it’s one to look forward to.

The campaign features models Liu Wen , Natasha Poly and Mariacarla Boscono in sultry photos modeling the brand’s latest collection.

The Italian brand is known for it’s sophisticated pieces and provocative ad campaigns.

Shot in a studio against a gray background, the brand’s latest campaign was photographed by Mert&Marcus. The collection blends ready-to-wear and lingerie.

La Perla was founded in 1954 by Italian designer Ada Masotti in a small atelier in Bologna, Italy. The brand got its name from its first collection being transported in small velvet lined suitcases. In the 1960s, fashion became more unconventional, paving the way for the success of the brand and it’s innovative take on fashion.

By 1955, La Perla began to produce beachwear.

Check out the Spring / Summer 2016 La Perla collection.
