The charming Kate Hudson talks about her mom and “The First Wives Club” star, Goldie Hawn and memories of growing up.
I do not know about you, but I love movies that have either Kate Hudson or her Iconic Hollywood parent, Goldie Hawn. Kate Hudson talks about her “confidante” and what she sees when she looks at mom, Goldie Hawn. For the most part, when we see our parents, we see them as what they mean to us. Kate Hudson shares this about Goldie Hawn, “I think people get an idea of her spirit and she’s just this wonderful person and she’s a light and she’s a great mom. She’s a very strong presence and she was strict at times.”
Growing up in a famous household can definitely come with its own set of pressures. To see how amazing Kate Hudson has become has to be a tremendous honor for her legendary mother, Goldie Hawn. The “Fool’s Gold” actress reveals, “She wasn’t always like what her Instagram shows. There’s another side to mom.” Hudson talks, “What makes mom the best is that she never put any expectations too high on the kids.” It must have been a big relief for Kate as a child. Hudson continues, “She just wanted us to be doing the things that made us happy, as long as we were working hard, but we never had to live up to something.”
Kate Hudson talks to People magazine and was asked what was the best advice given by her mother. The “How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days actress, Kate Hudson says, “It’s not really advice so much as she’s my confidante and we talk about our life and her life, and we support each other now that I’m an adult. Where she’s really wonderful is leading an authentic life and a truthful life.” It appears, that Hudson and her brother Oliver who is also an actor had one supportive and talented mom who knew just the right things to say to her children.
I am certainly happy that the current star of Mother’s Day decided to join the family business on her own as she is a box office draw all on her own. She is currently starring with other great actresses like Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston in Mother’s Day. I know my Mom and I are looking forward to seeing Hudson’s movie together.
Will you be going to the theater to see Kate Hudson in Mother’s Day?
