Gotham TV Show

Before Batman… there was Gotham! Fox has officially pickup its new TV show Gotham for a full series — and it’s going to be awesome.

Gotham stars The O.C. heartthrob and Southland actor Ben McKenzie as we get a glimpse of what life was like in Gotham City BEFORE Bruce Wayne ever became Batman. This seriously-intriguing show is basically a prequel to Batman, focusing on Detective James Gordon (played by Ben) and his early career as a police officer. Ah, we can’t wait to see Ben back on TV and looking hot (as usual)!

The show will follow Detective Gordon as he tries to solve the murder of Bruce Wayne’s parents. Yes, Bruce Wayne (who grew up to be Batman) will be a big part of the series, but as a child. Gotham will also tell untold stories created by DC Entertainment of DC Comic villains — and will introduce a new character, Fish Mooney.

Gotham’s cast includes Donal Logue (as Detective Harvey Bullock), Jada Pinkett Smith (as Fish Mooney) and David Mazouz (as the young Bruce Wayne). The airdate isn’t set yet, but we will keep you updated on all things Gotham as Fox’s fall TV lineup is revealed.
