Designer Victoria Beckham has partnered with — charity Born Free Africa and online clothing boutique Shopbop for a line of mother-daughter dresses. Victoria’s gorgeous designs will be available staring April 23. All proceeds will support Born Free Africa, which is a non-profit organization helping to end mother-to-child HIV transmission.
“Honoured to design mother/daughter dresses to support @BornFreeAfrica available on @shopbop starting April 23rd x vb,” Victoria tweeted on April 16.
This is an amazing line for an amazing cause — and we are so excited that Victoria has joined Born Free Africa’s efforts to fight against HIV. We love Victoria’s other clothing lines — and with this new collection, we are now even bigger fans.
Victoria is one of many amazing designers to join forces with this organization. According to Vogue UK, designers Diane von Furstenberg, Rachel Roy and Stella McCartney have all partnered with the group (along with 20 other designers like Donna Karan and Tory Burch), to make mother-daughter dresses — and bring about change.
We can’t wait to see more of these adorable matching ensembles from all of the fabulous designers. Fingers crossed Victoria will rock a couple of looks with her beautiful daughter, Harper, too!
