It’s finally here — Kristen Stewart’s new campaign for Chanel. Last year, Kristen was announced as the face of Chanel’s 2013-2014 Metiers d’Arts lookbook — and the photos have officially been released!
Chanel’s new campaign is western-inspired with a twist of romance. The pics were shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself (in Paris). The photos are stunning and unique — which is exactly what we expected. We love the use of western flare, especially since the line first debuted in Dallas, Texas.
“He’s so good at seeing something that’s not cool and making it cool. Like, I would have my leg in one position and he would throw a toothpick in my mouth and tell me to stop leaning on my leg and in two seconds it was like, ‘Oh, there it is.’ It was very cool and easy and artistic. I didn’t feel like I had to push outside of myself. I didn’t have to try to turn into someone else,” Kristen tells People about shooting with Karl.
Kristen’s ability to rock these country-chic ensembles with cornrows is amazing. We especially love the edginess and attitude she shows off in each photo. Plus, Kristen’s winged eyeliner is gorgeous!
