On Saturday, the most fashionable and fabulous actors and actresses took fashion to another level at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner. The three best trends to hit the red carpet in Washington, DC, were black-and-white ensembles, shimmer gowns and a touch of lace. See who made our best-dressed list below.
Fashion designer Jessica Simpson (above, left) showed of her sexy new bod at the 100th Annual White House dinner. Jessica rocked this floor-length Carolina Herrera gown, which has a beautiful black-and-white floral design. So chic! 12 Years A Slave actress (and Oscar winner) Lupita Nyong’o (above, right) looked sleek and playful in this Oscar de la Renta black-and-white polka-dot gown. The peplum shape and fun use of dots make her ensemble a home run.
We love Immortals actress Freida Pinto’s (above, left) use of pastel pink. Frieda’s custom Thakoon gown has just the right amount of shimmer — and it is both sexy and sophisticated with its cut-out bodice. Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara (above, right) looked sexy as usual in this Romona Keveza Spring 2014 gown. The mix of gold shimmer on top with a sexy mermaid-style skirted bottom is so glamorous and feminine.
The Newsroom actress Olivia Munn (above, left) showed off her feminine side in this J. Mendel Spring 2014 gown. Olivia is girly and sophisticated in this frock, which pairs a pastel pink hue with white lace detailing — very dainty and sweet. Orange Is The New Black actress Taylor Schilling (above, right) does a dark dress right with her White House gown choice. Taylor rocked a navy Zuhair Murad frock with a gorgeous slit up the side and lace detailing around the waist.
